My name is Nicole Bayless. I am married to my wonderful husband Caleb, who is the new assistant principal at Carthage Intermediate Center. We have two beautiful daughters. Ava is six, and will be in 1st grade at Steadley this year, and Anna is three. This is my 15th year teaching. I graduated in 2004 from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. In 2008, I earned my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Pittsburg State University. Prior to living in Carthage, I lived in Columbia, Missouri with my parents and younger brother.
I absolutely love being at Steadley every day, and I have a passion for helping children learn. Teaching is a huge part of my life. When I am not grading papers or writing lesson plans, I enjoy reading, watching HGTV, making t-shirts, shopping, and spending time with my friends and family.
I am so excited to be teaching at Steadley and I will make every child’s 3rd grade year the best it can be!
